Dreams Come True is thrilled to welcome Dr Samira Neshat as its new Medical Advisor.

This is a vital volunteer role which ensures our dream-making team understands the clinical environments and care pathways taken by the children we support. Our medical advisor will also guide us on how best to engage and collaborate with professionals and organisations across the sector.

Crucially, this esteemed voluntary role will be working with our dream delivery team providing advice and guidance around medical eligibility, supporting complex needs, and broader elements of the dream journey.

Dr Neshat completed her general paediatric training in Germany in 2004. She then undertook higher specialist training in Paediatric Critical Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (UK) and Yale University Hospital (USA). She subsequently worked as a trauma consultant within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit at Royal London Hospital until February 2025. Dr Neshat now practises as a consultant paediatrician at The Portland Hospital and Cromwell Hospital, with a particular interest in managing complex conditions and caring for patients with specialised care requirements.

We are delighted to welcome such expertise and compassionate new dream maker to the team, and look forward to working together to create yet more moments of magic and lasting impact for some of the most vulnerable children across the country.

Thank you to Dr Neshat for joining our #DreamTeam, and we look forward to working together granting Dreams to thousands of children across the UK.
