Peak District Challenge

The base-camp hub in idyllic Bakewell will welcome adventurers who will test themselves in the fabulous Peak District National Park.

There’s a full range of camping options, car parking, extensive hospitality and welfare services across the weekend – with a full 100km Challenge which takes a tough and varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery. You’ll get full support all the way, and with 10 mile, 25km, 50km, 75km and 100km distance options, there’s a Peak District Challenge for everyone!

You have 2 options when signing up for a place to support Dreams Come True:

1. Charity Sponsorship – pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!

10 mile: Reg fee £10 and fundraising target £100
25km: Reg fee £20 and fundraising target £240
50km: Reg fee £30 and fundraising target £360
75km: Reg fee £35 and fundraising target £450
100km: Reg fee £40 and fundraising target £575

2. Mixed Funding – pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.

10 mile: Reg fee £22.50 and fundraising target £70
25km: Reg fee £50 and fundraising target £150
50km: Reg fee £75 and fundraising target £225
75km: Reg fee £90 and fundraising target £270
100km: Reg fee £100 and fundraising target £300

Make A Referral

We only accept referrals from medical, healthcare, or social care professionals. Applications are on a first come first served basis, to ensure that no child is waiting too long for delivery of their dream.
Who we support

To ensure we reach the children who deserve our attention the most, we work with children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country, and are living with a disability, serious illness, or life-limiting conditions. More info

We work exclusively with, and only manage dream referrals from, those who know the Dreamers best –medical, healthcare and social care professionals.
